Palisade Announces New Latin American Sales Director
EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE SALES PROFESSIONAL TO LEAD EFFORT
26 September 2005, Ithaca, NY - Palisade Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Denise Castellot as the new Director of Latin American Sales. Ms. Castellot brings eight years of Latin America sales experience at Mattel Interactive, Syracuse Language, and The Learning Company to her new role at Palisade.
Ms. Castellot will be responsible for the sale of Palisade software products and training and consulting services in Latin America. Having launched the Latin American office for a software company in the past, Ms. Castellot will be pivotal in building customer relationships face-to-face, researching and attending key industry trade events, and becoming the “face” of Palisade throughout Latin America.
According to Palisade Vice President Randy Heffernan, “Denise brings extensive software and training sales background to Palisade. Her Latin American experience and Spanish language fluency will be key assets.” He adds, “Palisade is experiencing tremendous growth in the Latin American market and the assignment of a full-time Sales Director reflects Palisade’s commitment to customers in the region.”
Palisade Corporation recently released @RISK en Español, a Spanish language version of @RISK, the world’s leading Monte Carlo simulation add-in for Microsoft Excel. Additionally, Palisade has offered a series of successful regional training seminars in Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Bogotá and Sao Paulo. These seminars were led by experienced instructors in Spanish and Portuguese.
