@RISK Goes Global with Four New Languages

@RISK, Palisade’s leading risk analysis tool for Microsoft Excel, is now available in French, German, Japanese, and Spanish. The new language versions of @RISK will meet customer demands in Europe, Latin America, and Japan.

Same Great Product
The new versions contain all the same capabilities and power of the original @RISK. Palisade carefully translated all the commands and menus, as well as help files and user manuals. According to Palisade President Sam McLafferty, “The decision to expand @RISK was driven by sold-out seminars, increasing requests from global corporations, and growing international sales.”

New Web Pages
The French, German, Japanese and Spanish versions of @RISK will be supported by web sites, brochures, and example files in the appropriate language. Existing @RISK users who wish to add a new language can contact their regional sales representative for a special introductory offer.

Career Opportunity: Trainer/Consultant

With the success of the new Live Web Training seminars and increased demand for customized on-site training, Palisade needs to add another Trainer/Consultant.

Position Description:
The Trainer/Consultant will conduct hands-on risk and decision analysis training using Palisade software. Training includes regional seminars open to the general public as well as customized, on-site training for clients with specific needs. As part of the courses, the Trainer/Consultant will develop training materials for general use, and create custom examples based on client-specific models.

The position requires traveling to client sites domestically and internationally as needed. The role may require 40-50% traveling.

Requirements:
Successful candidates will have a University degree and considerable background in decision science, statistics, finance, economics and/or related quantitative field. Business consulting experience in industries using decision/risk analysis is preferred. Additionally, a flexible nature and the ability to adapt to customer requirements and different job duties are essential.
