Innovative Analytics Since 1984
Founded in 1984, Palisade’s first product was
PRISM, which gave PC users the ability to quantify
risk by running Monte Carlo simulations. In 1987
it was succeeded by @RISK for Lotus 1-2-3,
the world’s first Monte Carlo simulation add-in
for spreadsheets. Today, @RISK is an add-in to
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
It has become the world’s leading risk analysis tool
and remains the company's best-known product.
Building on the success of @RISK, Palisade has
developed other programs to meet the growing
professional demand for technically refined
decision support software. These programs form
Palisade’s DecisionTools Suite, a complete toolkit
for quantitative decision making. The DecisionTools
Suite includes @RISK, and every program adds-in
to Microsoft Excel.
Training and Consulting
Palisade offers comprehensive training and
consulting services to teach professionals in all
fields how to apply not just the software but the
principles of quantitative decision making to realworld
problems. The company offers custom onsite
training as well as a global schedule of public
regional seminars and web-based training. Palisade
Consulting helps organizations define decision
issues and develop custom analytical models and
programming solutions.
