Phil Sandy is an accomplished and highly technical software industry executive with extensive experience in finance, technology, and operations. He has a unique background with experience as a both a COO and CFO. Phil’s career has given him extensive subject matter knowledge with ERP and financial reporting systems, as well as software design and financial operations.
Among his accomplishments, Phil designed and launched a highly successful cloud-based general ledger, accounts payable and financial reporting system for acute care hospitals. He was also the design architect behind Spreadsheet Server, the market-leading ERP reporting solution from Global Software.
Phil is a key member of leadership teams growing companies from fundraising stages, through successful acquisitions, and to next levels of success.

For over 20 years, Randy Heffernan has worked in nearly every department at Palisade, including sales, marketing, operations, and development. Working closely with sales and product teams, he has led product launches, entered new markets, and established Palisade offices in multiple new countries. During that time, the company has quadrupled in size and expanded its reach to become the dominant force in modern analytical decision-making and thought leadership.
Spencer Kupferman is the CEO at Cloud Daddy, the world's most secure and easy-to-use AWS native data protection platform. Prior to Cloud Daddy, Spencer was President & CEO of Global Software, Inc. (now named insightsoftware) the global leader in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and enterprise performance management (EPM) reporting solutions. Spencer spearheaded the revolution of the Spreadsheet Server solution platform as it took the market by storm. Spencer led the company through two successful nine-figure transitions to market leading private equity firms, Thompson Street Capital Partners and TA Associates.
Spencer also currently serves as an Executive Advisor for Thompson Street Capital Partners portfolio companies in the technology space, mentoring CEOs and other executives.
Craig Albrecht is a managing director at Thompson Street Capital Partners, where he partners with founders and management teams to accelerate growth at market-leading enterprise software firms. He currently serves on the board of directors of Palisade, Gurobi Optimization, Tabs3 Software, BCC Software and ControlScan. Before joining TSCP, Craig was a co-founder of Bodley Group, a family office investing directly in private equity and venture capital. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Financial Institutions Group, where he executed M&A advisory and corporate finance assignments across financial services industries. He received a BA and MA from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Palmer Scholar.
J.C. Wetzel is a vice president at Thompson Street Capital Partners, where he spearheads the identification of potential partner companies in technology and healthcare. J.C. brings a strong relationship focus to the partnership process, building and maintaining dialog with managers as a key to success. In addition to Palisade, he’s currently working with growth teams at sector leaders Healthcare Linen Services Group and LifeSpace Biosciences.
Before joining Thompson Street, J.C. was an associate at the private equity firm Wind Point Partners in Chicago, and a financial analyst at the investment banking firm Houlihan Lokey’s Global Industrials Group. J.C. holds a BA in math, economics and German from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Martin Pergler is a globally recognized expert in risk management and decision making under uncertainty. Having consulted since 2000, Martin has help over 250 clients, particularly in the energy/natural resources, industrial, and travel/logistics sectors. He has also been active with multi-sector conglomerates and institutional investors.
Martin’s focus is on both quantitative (risk quantification and risk-return modeling) and qualitative (decision processes, governance, culture) aspects. He takes a special interest in reframing risk as opportunity for his clients, promoting confident and thoughtful risk taking. Martin enjoys developing people and building capabilities for his clients.
Martin is currently the Principal and Founder to Balanced Risk Strategies, Ltd. Prior to that, he worked at McKinsey & Company for nearly two decades. He is also an author and frequent conference speaker.
