Dr. Domingo Castelo Joaquin

Domingo Castelo Joaquin is Associate Professor of Finance. He teaches undergraduate and MBA courses in Real Options Valuation, Value-based Management, and Spreadsheet Modeling in Corporate Finance. He earned his Ph.D. from Michigan State University.

He has published articles on Strategic Entry and Exit Decisions, Cost of Capital, Decision Theory, Portfolio Selection and Capital Budgeting. His work of portfolio diversification has been cited in The New York Times, Money Magazine, and CNNfn.

Dr. Joaquin provides risk assessment training using @RISK, has given training courses on behalf of Palisade Corporation, and consults in the areas of Risk Assessment, Real Options, and Portfolio Risk. His work has appeared in Theory and Decision, the Journal of Post Keynesian Economics, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of International Business Studies, Economic Letters, Journal of International Money and Finance, and Risk Management and Insurance Review.
