StatTools® Moves Up to New Version
FREE UPDATE AVAILABLE TO CURRENT USERS
29 April 2005, Ithaca, NY - Today Palisade Corporation, the world leader in analytical solutions that add in to Excel, released a new version of its popular statistics add-in, StatTools. Originally released in 2003, StatTools replaces Excel’s built-in statistics, which had often been questioned, with its own calculations. With the addition of Palisade’s intuitive interface and dataset manager, StatTools offers Excel users robust and accurate statistical analysis.
StatTools was welcomed enthusiastically by users in both the business and the academic worlds who praised its ease of use and sound results. One of these, Gregory Cenker of Southern California Edison declared, “I applaud StatTools powerful statistical analysis. The mathematics in Excel leave something to be desired, [but] after testing a few of my favorite handwritten algorithms against the ones you’ve included in the package, our numbers agree to the last digit! At last, someone takes the initiative!”
Version 1.1 extends StatTools functionality and adds new modes of analysis. These enhancements include:
- Pareto charts that let you see and rank the differences among datasets
- Improved regression routines
- Even smoother integration with Microsoft Excel
