@RISK Goes Global with Four New Languages
6 June 2005, Ithaca, NY - To meet the needs of its increasingly international customer base, Palisade Corporation has released its flagship risk analysis product, @RISK, in four new languages. @RISK is a Monte Carlo simulation add-in for Microsoft Excel that has become popular for its analytical power, ease of use, and readily understandable results. The product has broad applications in business, government, and education. @RISK 4.5 is now available in Spanish, French, German, and Japanese, reflecting Palisade’s strong performance in the European, Latin American, and Asia-Pacific markets.
The company’s translations of the English-language software are comprehensive. The @RISK menus and commands, as well as the help file and the software manual have been carefully rendered in Spanish, French, German, and Japanese. These new language editions will make the software accessible to thousands of new users in markets where the English version of @RISK has begun to make inroads.
“@RISK has always sold to a steady stream of customers abroad, but recently we are experiencing the beginning of a real surge in demand,” said Randy Heffernan, Palisade’s Vice President. “Sold-out foreign-language seminars and requests from major corporate customers are just a few indicators of this demand for @RISK in different languages. This underscores the increasing sophistication in business decision making worldwide, and with the new translations we are positioned to maximize the number of customers we can reach in the global market.”
Palisade will service the new products with web sites and supporting materials in French, German, Spanish, and Japanese. Existing @RISK users who wish to convert to one of the new language versions can contact Palisade for upgrade information.
