We recommend having at least 70% of system resources available before starting TopRank. If you have less than 70%, close other applications which may also be running. If you still have less than 70% resources, exit and restart Windows. Some systems have a number of applications which start automatically upon entering Windows; these may need to be closed as well. Windows 3.1 allocates only 128 KB to system resources, regardless of the amount of installed RAM on your computer. Therefore, installing more memory in your computer will not improve the availability of system resources.
