Most likely, TopRank is trying to write or read to a temporary directory that doesn't exist. Open your DTOOLS.INI file (which is located in your Windows directory). In the [DIRECTORIES] section of this file is an entry called TEMP, which determines where TopRank will read and write its temporary files. Now find the directory pointed to by this entry and make sure it exists and has full read, write, and delete access permissions.
