Dtools32.xll Could Not Be Found

This message can occur when you have manually moved PrecisionTree from one directory to another instead of uninstalling PrecisionTree and reinstalling to a different directory. To fix this problem, perform the following steps:

  1. Open Excel (without opening PrecisionTree.)
  2. Choose the Add-ins menu item on Excel's Tools menu.
  3. Locate the entry called Dtools32 and uncheck it.
  4. When you remove the check, Excel will give a dialog "Cannot find add-in 'C:\DTOOLS\SYSTEM\DTOOLS32.XLL'. Delete from list?"
  5. Answer Yes.
  6. Exit from Excel.
  7. Restart PrecisionTree.
