If you try to open Evolver when RISKOptimizer (another optimization package developed by Palisade Corporation) is loaded you will get the message, "Evolver can not be loaded because RISKOptimizer is open." This is by design. Evolver and RISKOptimizer share many resources than can not be opened simultaneously in Excel.
