Bringing Data Into BestFit For Fitting

Several methods are available for bringing your data into BestFit. You may type it directly into the input data grid, read it in from a .TXT file or paste it from another Windows application.

The Paste command imports data to the input sheet from the Windows Clipboard. To do so, highlight the data you want to copy and paste into your BestFit input sheet. To import data from a non-spreadsheet application, be sure that paired data is tab-delimited and each set ends with a carriage return.

You can also read the data on a fit tab in from a range in Microsoft Excel. To do this, highlight the range you want to use, and click the BestFit icon on the DecisionTools toolbar in Excel. This places the data in the range in a new fit tab in BestFit. The Excel add-in DTOOLS.XLA must be open in Excel to do this.
