1. Analyze Inputs Automatically
TopRank will search your formulas to find values which could be changed to affect your output. Select the Add AutoVary Functions command to do this. You can also have TopRank automatically identify inputs when it starts a What-if analysis.
2. Enter a Min-Max Range
Click the Add Input icon to enter a min-max range for a value in your spreadsheet. TopRank will test values across this range in a What-if analysis.
3. Try Different Change Amounts
It’s easy to run an analysis at one level of change, say +/- 10%, and then run a new analysis at +/- 20%. Use the Analysis Settings dialog to enter a new range prior to each analysis.
4. Browse Through Inputs
With the Add Input dialog displayed, just press the <TAB> key to step through all inputs that will be changed in your spreadsheet.
5. Swap Out TopRank Functions
TopRank functions can be swapped out so others without TopRank can use your spreadsheet. Click the Swap TopRank Functions icon to do this.
6. Change Related Inputs
A group of similar inputs, like labor costs, can share the same +/- change. Use the Model Window and the Arrange menu Copy Input Across Category command to do this.
