Palisade Opens London Headquarters

NEWFIELD, NY - 2 October 2002 - Palisade Corporation, a world-leader in risk analysis and decision support software, will officially open its new European headquarters in London, October 2. Because London is an international business destination, the new location will allow Palisade staff improved interaction with other British and European businesses. Palisade Europe, as the London office is known, will provide full-service sales, shipping, technical support and training services to all European customers. In addition, the London office offers multilingual support, accepts multiple currencies, and runs its own web site at www.palisade-europe.com. Until now, the company’s European sales have been carried out from Devon, England.

Announcing the new headquarters opening, Palisade president Sam McLafferty said, “We wanted to give all of our customers on the other side of the Atlantic the benefits of a full-service location.” In particular, McLafferty noted increased corporate licensing opportunities, on-site training, and consulting.

Palisade software, notably @RISK and the DecisionTools Suite, is used in a broad range of business, engineering, and scientific applications. Approximately 25% of the company’s customers are based in Europe, including many of the multinational corporations it supplies.
